It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dan Dobie on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. Dan was born and raised in Port Alberni and worked as a longshoremen. He leaves to mourn his wife, Daphne, his son Dan, his daughter-in-law, Treena and grandson, Zach, who miss him deeply. There will be a service of remembrance at the Port Alberni Rugby Club on Saturday, June 17 at 4:30 pm with a tea to follow.
