In Our Hearts ~
Eugene David Angrignon passed away at the age of 82 on Wednesday, October 11th.
Predeceased by his wife Gail, his brother Edmond, and his grandson Brandon.
Gene is survived by his longtime companion, Lois, children Dale, Chris, Shawn (Sheryl), Sandra (Bob), and Mark (Nadia) and his grandchildren, Caleb, True, Markus, Amelia, Steven, Brian, Tara, Trevor, Carly, Blair and his brothers Randy, Gord and John Scott and his sister Joan.
Gene was born in Nakusp, B.C. and after high school joined the army and quickly left to join the navy. He eventually settled down in Port Alberni to raise his family. He became an electrician at the pulp mill until his early retirement in the 1990s.
Gene enjoyed the passions in his life which included amateur radio, computers, his motorcycle, gardening and travelling with family and friends, near and far. Many trips in his R.V. down to the southern states in the winter.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date for all his family and many friends from across the country.
