Frances Earthy passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 in Port Alberni at the age of 98 years.
Predeceased by husband Dennis in 1993, brother Bill in 1983, sisters Betty in 2004, Vi in 2005 and Lucy in 2011.
Frances is survived by children Wayne (Jody), Mick (Penny) and Danny (Anita) of Port Alberni, Denice, Donna (Rick) of Kamloops and Barb (Dave) of Parksville; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, and several foster children.
Born on the prairies, Frances came to Port Alberni with her family as a young girl. She was always involved in the community, as an over 20 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxillary, as a volunteer at both Fir Park and Echo Village doing crafts and through her busy home based business Fran's Flowers making corsages, wedding bouquets and other arrangements. She was very creative and loved passing it on to her grandchildren.
In accord with Fran's wishes, no formal service will be held.
