Gordon Charles Jones

Gordon Charles Jones, age 83, of Port Alberni, British Columbia passed away on November 12, 2022. Gord was predeceased by his wife Theodice, his father William, his mother Gladys and brothers Thomas and William. Gord is survived by his three children, Warren (Lisa), Owen and Cara and his three grandchildren, Kaia (Jordan), Charlie and Annalee.
Gord will be remembered as devoted and loving father and grandfather. Gord was a member of the Beaver Creek Volunteer Fire Department since its inception and was an active member for 45 years. Gord had volunteered his time to Alberni Valley Youth Soccer for 40 years as a coach, manager, board of director, referee and referee in chief. His commitment to both of these organizations was extraordinary as these were both passions of his life. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at the Princeton General Hospital and Kelowna General Hospital for all the care and comfort that Gord received.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm, January 7, 2023 at the Beaver Creek Volunteer Fire Hall.
