In Loving Memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Hendrik (Hank) Mallon, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Hank is predeceased by his parents, Henderika and Willem, and brothers and sisters Cor (Coba), Bill (Mary), Anne (Terrance), Henny (Fred), Tony, Joe and Christina.
Hank is survived by his loving wife, Lorna with whom he shared over 70 years of marriage, and their 3 children, John Mallon, Mike (Doreen) Mallon, Jane (Derik) Sheers, his grandchildren, Carson Mallon, Carly (Shane) Mallon, Kelsea (Russ) Blackburn and Parker (Chelsea) Sheers, and great-grandchildren Miller and Boone, and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Hank (aka "Hammer", "Hammerin Hank", "Pa") was very social and loved to try new things and be part of the community. His many interests (which he passed on to his children) included playing music, singing, hockey (playing and coaching), woodworking, building guitars, weight-training, photography, playing music for residents in local LTC Homes and annual Heritage Dinners and other charity events.
He also played with the Blue Mountain Ramblers alongside his son Mike, grandson Carson and other band members.
Hank and Lorna were also season ticket holders to the AV Bulldogs from season one and loved socializing with friends at the games.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
