Jessie May Spence was born March 7, 1924 in St. Rose, Manitoba and passed peacefully on March 13, 2018 in Port Alberni, BC - which is the ending of an era.
Jessie was predeceased by her husband Harvey Spence and her grand daughter Rhonda Preston and is survived by her daughter Lynda Olson, her sons Ernie (Judy) & Michael (Tammy) Preston, grandchildren Beverly (Brian) Mullen, Dan (Nikki) Crocker, Gaige & Austin Preston, great grandchildren Drake & Ali Mullen and Hunter & Annabelle Crocker. Being the last of 14 children, Jessie has countless nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM - Yates Memorial Chapel - 4470 Gertrude Street, Port Alberni. Following the graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery, there will be a tea at the Legion - Branch 293 - 4680 Victoria Quay.
