In Loving Memory (1955-2024) ~

We are saddened to announce the passing of Joanne, also known as Jo-Jo by many of her family and friends. She grew up in Port Alberni and moved to New Westminster for her remaining years.
She is survived by brothers Jim, Clifford and Mark (Kelly) and pre-deceased by her mother Margaret, brother Bob and sister Nelda.
Jo-Jo loved animals, especially dogs and cats which gave her great joy. She also loved spending time with her nieces Dana and Heather. During her years battling early onset Alzheimer's, Joanne was truly grateful to her sister in-law Kelly Sieben for her assistance, advocacy and care.
Joanne and the family profoundly appreciated her half-sister Leah Sieben's caregiving to Jo-Jo in her final last couple years.
Big thank-you to her daughters, Jamie and to the staff at The Gardens @ Qualicum Beach.
Joanne requested no service and has generously donated her body to Science at the UBC Body donation program.
