In loving memory ~
Kari passed away suddenly from natural causes, at the age of 64, while away working in Hudson's Hope, B.C.
He is predeceased by his parents, Sam and Irene, and leaves behind his loving daughters Ashley (Brian) and Elise (Mike), along with his grandchildren Shayla, Isabella, Bentley, Maverick, Willow and Bennett. Also survived by his sister Suvanna (Brian), brother Paul (Terri), nieces and nephew; Brianna, Denaye, Bryce, Deanna, Melissa, and numerous relatives in B.C. and Alberta.
Kari was born and raised in Port Alberni, on Vancouver Island, B.C. At a young age he set out to Edmonton Alberta to build a family, a life, and a career working in the oil and gas industry. Loyal, hard working, and dependable, he lived a life surrounded by his family and friends, and could be counted on by anyone he cared about. Many will remember him for his devotion to his family, his recent commitment to his health, his absolute love of classic muscle cars, his fondness of animals (big and small!), his passion for watching live drag racing and most importantly, for his beloved and treasured 1981 antique Softail Harley Davidson.
Cremation has taken place. No service will be held as per family request.
Kari was a dedicated and generous financial supporter of the Edmonton Humane Society. Monetary donations, or gifts in kind, would be appreciated by the family and can be made directly to the society, in memoriam.
