Klara Bircsak, age 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2024, at West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni.
Klara was born August 12, 1934 in Dabas, Hungary. Escaping the hard life in Hungary in 1956, they made their way to England and then to Canada settling in Port Alberni.
Klara loved gardening, painting, and being part owner/employee at the one time Granny's Trunk.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Lajos and Micheal (Shelly) and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would personally like to thank the staff at Fir Park and the nursing staff and attendants at West Coast General for helping us in this difficult journey.
