Knox passed away in Port Alberni on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the age of 88
Predeceased by son Robert, Knox is survived by daughter Karol; grandchildren Brant, Danielle and Kayla; 2 great grandchildren; brother Bob (Barb) and true friends Gerry and Linda Fagan.
Knox started work with London Records and became the Manager of RCA Victor. After a successful career Knox arrived in Port Alberni in 1980 and worked as the advertising manager of the AV Times for 14 years until his retirement. He was also heavily involved in the Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce – serving as president, and was also involved in the Alberni Valley Golf Club where he also served as President. Knox loved football and was an avid viewer, especially when the BC Lions were playing.
