passed away peacefully at Rainbow Gardens on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the age of 95.

Predeceased by loving husband of 49 years James Little; brothers Ernie, Nelson, and Howard; and sister Marjory. Marion is survived by daughter Colleen (Phillip) Cantin; grandchildren Alice Robbins (nee Ovington) and Patrick (Mike), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Born in Maple Ridge, B.C., Marion moved to many places and worked various jobs; including as a clerk at Woodward’s in Vancouver and at Boeing making bolts for airplanes during the Second World War. She settled in the Alberni Valley in 1953 where she raised her family with her husband Jim. Marion was passionate about her family and loved being a mother, and later, a grandmother. She enjoyed arts and crafts and liked to knit, make ceramics, and do jigsaw puzzles and crosswords. Marion will be dearly missed by her family.

Following Marion’s wishes, no formal service will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marion’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of British Columbia, 300-828 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., V5Z 1E2 or to Variety – The Children’s Charity, 4300 Still Creek Drive, Burnaby, BC V5C 6C6.
