Mike passed away in Port Alberni,
on Friday, January 27, 2017
at the age of 70 years.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Eva; children Michael (Sheri), Daryl (Tasha) and Sabine (Joern), grandchildren Mitchell, Olivia and Spencer.
Mike first came to Port Alberni at an early age and after going to school and growing up left to join the Royal Canadian Air Force where he spent more than 30 years. After retiring from the Air Force in 1994, Mike came back to Port Alberni and became the Property Manager for the Sproat Lake Mobile Park for 14 years before retiring once again.
According to his wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
