May 20, 1949 - August 13, 2019
It is with sadness, that we announce Murray lost his battle with cancer on August 13, 2019 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria at the age of 70.
Murray was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Dorothy Faint.
He is survived by his brother Guy Faint, sister Arlene McLaren and many nieces and nephews.
Murray was born in Port Alberni on May 20, 1949. He graduated from ADHS and attended UBC. He worked for BC Ferries, Community Futures Corp and later worked as a small business consultant.
The family would like to thank all his friends who helped Murray get to his hospital visits in Nanaimo and Victoria, Jan Gordon and Bill Pack. Cremation has taken place. Murray requested no service.
All his life Murray loved animals, especially cats, so a donation to the SPCA would be appreciated.
