Predeceased by son Michael in 2006.
Survived by wife of 65 years Norma, sons Martin and David and "favourite" daughter in law Melanie.
Granddaughters Adrienne (Richard) Melissa (Ron) and Jennifer (Dustin).
Great grandchildren Isaac, Aria, Ava, Owen and Erik.
As well as numerous extended family.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Muus at Fir Park Village with his wife by his side.
Muus was born in Koog aan de Zaan Netherlands and immigrated to Canada with his parents and sister, settling in the Alberni Valley in 1951.
Muus worked as a welder, shipwright, blacksmith and carpenter, working for many years at Alberni Engineering before becoming a house builder.
Muus will be remembered by many for his glass blowing which he did for many years.
