Passed away peacefully at Ty Watson House.
Bob was predeceased by his sister Betty Nuttall, parents Jessie and George Nuttall, son Grege Nuttall and wife Shirley Nuttall.
Bob is survived by his daughter Sharon Cameron (John), niece Georgina Cyr (Daniel), grandchildren Chris Paradis (Christine), Robert Nuttall (Brittany), Kory Nuttall, Amy Nuttall (Gavin) and four great grandchildren.
Bob was born in Simcoe, Ontario and met his wife Shirley in Branford, where they married. They moved to Port Alberni in 1963 with their children Sharon and Grege.
Bob was a WWII Veteran and was in the Navy. He was stationed out of Halifax and was on a Corvette ship.
He was self employed and owned Climate Control until he sold the business to his partners in the 90's. Bob was a lifetime member of Gyro and was a Mason. He was a member of the Legion Branch 169. He loved to spend time with his family and friends at his cabin on Cheeyah Island. He loved to cook and always made a big mess. He loved to garden, even at the age of 93 and most recently made the gardens beautiful at Heritage Place.
The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage for taking such good care of Bob during his 3+ years there and a very special thanks to the Nurses, Care Aids, and staff at Ty Watson House, for making Bob's last days comfortable and peaceful.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation to the Ty Watson House in Bob's memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 8th, from 1 - 4 pm at the Lawn Bowling Club in Port Alberni.
