Wayne Jaworski

January 19, 1941 - January 24, 2024

In Loving Memory ~

It is with heavy hearts we say our final good-bye to devoted Husband, Dad and Grampa. Wayne passed away peacefully on January 24th 2024.

Wayne left this earth with so many great memories. Wayne worked in the logging industry. He took pride in his job as a logging truck driver.

The best years were working for John Casanave (Lois Lake Logging). He always felt he was very fortunate to have the life he had.

Good times were had with the kids at Tall Timbers in the summer. He enjoyed ski trips, motorhome trips down south, as well as numerous vacations in Hawaii and Mexico. He had many great memories of playing ball with the Haggards Slow Pitch Team (They were a crazy fun bunch.) and golfing in mixed golf tournaments all over the island.

He was especially proud of his son Scott and daughter-in-law Wynita, daughter Tracy and son-in-law Jody Lucas, son Clinton and daughter-in-law Tara, and his grandchildren.

He loved his sister-in-law Kath and brother-in-law Tylo Smith, brother-in-law Brent Stolth and sister-in-law Sherry.

Sad times in his life were when his brother Al and sister Alma died at very young ages. They were so missed.

He shared over 60 years of marriage with the love of his life Carol. He will be missed by all.

This may come as a surprise but....... Wayne went down in a hail of bullets while in west Texas. He was involved in a gunfight in El Paso at Rosie's Cantina... Marty Robbin's was said to have been playing in the background....... a tribute to dad and the love of music he held so closely.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm April 6th at Alberni Golf Course.
