October 5th was a beautiful sunny fall day when Bill passed peacefully in his sleep at West Coast General Hospital. We are thankful for his great care there.
Bill was born in Quebec and moved to the West Coast at a young age, where he started his long and storied career in logging. He lived a life of hard work and unwavering commitment. His passion for his work and his dedication were evident to all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Beverley. His two sons, Rocky (Patti) and Todd and their families, and his stepchildren, Yvonne, Marcel, Bonnie, David, Michael Dean, and Dale and their families.
Bill did not want a service, but in lieu of flowers, a donation to his favourite charity, the SPCA, would be greatly appreciated.
This gentle giant will be missed.
