To the Editor,
Why doesn’t Premier Rachel Notley keep Alberta’s oil in Alberta and refine it there, providing good jobs to make good Canadian products for national consumption, rather than importing it?
Then employ latest carbon-capture technology and use gas refinery emissions to supply CO2 to greenhouses full of cannabis plants, basking (of course) in B.C Hydro.
Talk about decades of stable job-creation and homegrown economic growth potential!
And “hands-across-the-Rockies” everyone can (as we always have) remain best buds.
