City hall has just decreed one pail per household fulfills the need.
For garbage pickup, yet I say
This is not fair in any way!
A family of one or two,
Would surely find one pail would do;
But when it comes to five or six
In a family unit, what a fix!
Two dollars for an extra pail
Would fill the need and yet I fail
To see that’s fair; It’s clear to say
There is a great discrepancy.
A simple answer’s to be found
With common sense to look around;
The number in a home should so.
‘A pail for every one or two’.
