To the Editor,
The time is now to send a resounding “no” to Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his Conservatives that we will not tolerate the ratification of the “Canada China Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement”.
This trade deal is tantamount to the social and economic occupation of Canada by a foreign nation.
Canada is at a crossroad. Harper plans to ratify the treaty this week before the Christmas holidays. Let’s hope the people of Canada will prevail.
