With a mere 600 days to the next election, not only is the NDP unveiling our brand new website, today, Adrian Dix is ready to provide an alternative right now.
(Dix) has sent me, a personal invitation to “Make a generous donation right now”.
Wow. Talk about flexible. I’m given the option of donating $5,000 or signing up to volunteer. Aw man....and I’m doing anything else.
A dime, perhaps, but not a quarter. The defeat of the HST has not pushed up my personal consumption - which means it also pushed down personal savings once more.
The denting of the armour of uninterrupted profit growth may set the wheels in reverse on the blithe and uncritical train of the NDP ‘Hopes and Dreams Tour’.
The public at large has been sold the snake-oil of risk, with earnings growth amid the conquest of forming the next government.
As for mass participation, the last burst of this we see may well be the scramble for the few places in the lifeboats.
