The Alberni Valley Curling Club held a membership meeting and dinner at the club on April 11 to celebrate a successful and fun season.
More than 70 members and guests attended.
Some of the club’s vintage trophies were presented to league winners.
The Volunteer of the Year was presented to Arnie Younger, the house chairman. Arnie is the “go-to guy” who looks after the maintenance of the building and equipment, a club spokesperson noted.
