Fifteen teams participated in the West Coast Dragon Boat Society’s Ladies Regatta on Sunday, June 12 and the weather was perfect for the competition.
The Friendship Centre was the charity of choice and money was raised for their child care program.
The winner of the monetary prize was Bob Beaton who took home $342 and was presented his prize by Darlene Leonew, an employee at the centre.
