The Port Alberni Ladies Basketball Spring 2011 season came to a close Monday night with Mace Electric Shockers playing Lace It Up for first place.
Mace Electric and Lace It Up turned up the heat for their game with both teams looking to win the championship. It was a tight game for the first 10 minutes, then Mace Electric went on a roll and never looked back, clinching the championship title with a 34 - 22 win.
Danielle Lessard won Most Valuable Player, while Katrina Hobbs won Most Hustle; Chelsey Charlesworth won Most Improved player, and Kari-Lea Charlesworth won Most Team Spirit.
Dave Ralla's Ballers won third place by default after Canadian Tire forfeited their game due to a lack of players.
