Runners in the No. 7 Challenge take off Saturday against the No. 7 steam train.

No. 7 train defeated

Runners came out to race in the No. 7 Challenge foot race.

Six humans beat the steam train to McLean Mill in the inaugural No. 7 Challenge foot race last Saturday.

Claire Morgan of Victoria was the first to cross the finish line ahead of the train, in 41.17.

More than two dozen runners rose to the challenge in this new event.
