The Alberni Golf Club men’s championship qualifying was held on Sunday.

The Alberni Golf Club men’s championship qualifying was held on Sunday with many thanks to Barlow’s Audio Visual for their generous sponsorship of this event.

Ted Stewart posted the low round with a 68.

One of our up and coming stars, Spencer Rhodes, qualified for the championship after firing a 77.  The draw has been posted in the pro shop.

KPs were scored by Sammy Parhar on No. 2, Jim Lawler No. 4, Darrel Van Os No. 13 and Wayne Johnson on No. 17.

Shawn Banman had the closest second shot on No.11.

The hidden hole was not won, causing a carry over to next week.

The Tombstone event has been rescheduled for this coming Sunday.
